To receive correspondence into the practice via e-mail, post and electronically. To scan hospital/clinic letters, results, investigations and reports into the clinical record (SystmOne). To code clinical information in line with the practice letter management policy. To maintain the computer clinical system in an accurate and secure manner.
To assist with the gathering of statistics and information when required. Summarising Accept and return patients notes to Primary Care Support England (PCSE) Cull and sort paper Lloyd George records and letters in preparation for summarising Review paper and electronic medical records and code the information into the Practice clinical system (SystmOne) Auditing data collection standards in the Practice Monitoring progress of notes summarising against Practice targets Monitor workflow manager General administration within the department as required and directed by the Team Leader Administrative support to the practice to help it achieve its targets and requirements
Responsibilities
Review and accurately code medical records using Systmone.
Ensure all documentation complies with relevant legal and organisational standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, coding guidelines, and healthcare regulations.
Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation when necessary.
Utilise Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to organise data and prepare reports.
Manage multiple tasks efficiently using excellent organisational and time management skills.
Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to internal and external queries related to coding processes.
Keep detailed records of coding activities and update databases regularly.

Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare documentation standards.
Previous administrative experience is desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Organised with strong time management capabilities to meet deadlines consistently.
Customer service orientation with a professional approach to stakeholder interactions.
