Overview

Looking for a well mannered/tempered driver to help deliver and collect medical equipment i.e. Hospital beds, Mattresses, Recliner chairs and other aid equipment. Between 15-20 deliveries a day 5days a week with weekend if you want. This job is roughly 6months but if interested and you do a good job it will carry on. Preferably need your own LWB van but i can speak with the customer to see if they have a spare van.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and completing necessary paperwork. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Assist with warehouse duties, including inventory management and organisation of stock when not on deliveries. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns during the delivery process.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment is advantageous. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members. Familiarity with local routes and navigation systems is beneficial. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Pay: 180.00-200.00 per day
