We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. Based at our Alfreton and Blackwell sites. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our GP Practice and enhancing the patient experience.
Duties
Greet patients and assist them with the check-in process.
Manage appointments - booking, confirmations, and cancellations.
Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with data protection regulations.
Basic administration using our clinical system.
Work closely with the wider team to ensure smooth patient experience.
Skills
Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in office software applications, including word and outlook.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential.
High level of accuracy.
