Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, support to all clinical staff employed by the practice. This is a branch site which requires a competent member of team who is willing to take on numerous responsibilities. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Dealing with patient queries
-Chasing secondary care letters / advice
- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as clinical task passed from GPs, administration tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Skills:
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not required
