Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations.
Answer phone calls promptly and handle inquiries regarding services and procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required.
Process patient registrations and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow within the practice.
Handle billing inquiries and assist with insurance verification processes.
Keep the reception area tidy and organised, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients.
Experience
Previous experience in an administrative or office role, preferably within a healthcare setting, is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and staff.
Proficiency in using office equipment and software applications relevant to medical reception duties.
