We are seeking a professional and organised Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming bookings.
Handle incoming calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the practice management system.
Process patient payments and insurance documentation efficiently.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organised, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Adhere to confidentiality protocols and data protection regulations at all times.
Experience
Prior office experience is preferred, ideally within a healthcare or medical setting.
Administrative experience demonstrating organisational skills and attention to detail is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or similar programmes is expected.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
