Receptionist (Temporary, Maternity Locum)
Keppoch Medical Practice is looking for an experienced GP receptionist to join our team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave for approximately 10 months from October 2025. Ideally we are looking for cover 2-3 days a week to support our acting Practice Manager and admin team while our Practice Manager is on maternity leave, but are open to discussions on availability. The role would be suitable for someone currently working part-time in another surgery or who has had recent administrative experience working within a GP surgery.
The role will include dealing with patients at reception and over the telephone, processing prescriptions and mail, booking and cancelling appointments, 'signposting' patients to the appropriate service, phoning hospitals, other services and many other administrative duties.
Salary: depending on experience.

Contract length: 10 months
Pay: 22,531.54-25,704.00 per year
Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
