Job Description

Leslie Medical Practice is a busy friendly Practice, we are looking to recruit a temporary part-time Medical Receptionist to join our existing team to cover maternity leave up until 4th December 2026. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, motivated and committed person with excellent communication skills to join our team. Willingness to learn, good organisational skills and competency in navigating IT systems are all essential.

Previous experience of working within either Primary or Secondary care and knowledge of EMIS and Docman clinical systems are preferred but not essential as full training will be given. A patient focused and compassionate outlook is required.

You will be working as part of a team managing the reception desk and dealing with general administrative duties in a fast paced environment.

This is a temporary post of 30 hours per week to cover maternity leave working Monday - Friday between the hours of 07:30 - 18:00, this will be worked on a rota basis. A flexible approach to working hours will be necessary to cover annual leave and at times of staff absence.
