About Us:
Almond Group Practice hosts a branch in Kirkliston and another in Winchburgh, with much of our staff working between both branches. With over 12500 patients to care for we are currently seeking an organised, detail-oriented, and proactive team member to join our reception team. The post has become available due to the extensive growth in both Kirkliston and Winchburgh area.
Both practices are purpose-built health centres with modern consulting rooms and staff rooms and benefit from easy parking and are within walking distance of a variety of shops. We are a friendly practice with a hard-working sociable team.
Key Responsibilities:
As the first point of contact for patients this role requires someone who is confident dealing with the public. You must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills.
You must also be highly motivated, enthusiastic and able to prioritise your workload.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Dealing with patient requests in person and by phone.
Making appointments.
Results handling.
Dealing with general enquiries.
Processing prescription requests.
Scanning and distributing clinical correspondence.
Requirements:
Proven experience in an administrative role or similar, preferably within General Practice or NHS Community setting.
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
Strong multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A working knowledge of Vision and Docman IT systems would be advantageous however full training will be given.

Hours Available:
20 hours over 4 days.
Monday: 12-6
Wednesday: 8-2
Friday: 10-6
