Duties
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with the check-in process.
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments as needed.
Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality in compliance with data protection regulations.
Process patient forms and insurance information, verifying eligibility and coverage.
Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate patient flow and manage appointment schedules effectively.
Handle billing inquiries and assist patients with payment processes.
Maintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible.
Assist in other administrative tasks as required to support the overall function of the practice.
Experience
Previous experience within a health care office setting is preferred.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
Proficient in using office equipment and computer systems.
A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
