Medical Receptionist - Hybrid (5 days per week, 3-5 hours per day) | 13/hr | Immediate Start



Are you an organised, patient-focused professional looking to make a real impact in a busy department? We're currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join a friendly and supportive team at Body Brilliant, with an immediate start available on a Part time basis.

The Role:?

As the first point of contact for patients, you'll play a key role in delivering excellent service and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the practice. You will have the opportunity work in an organised team where you will also have the opportunity to progress and upskill if so desired.?Also, ideal for a nurse or medical professional without PIN number.

Front Desk Operations:?

Schedule appointments and manage follow-up bookings. Answer calls/emails, providing information about services and treatments. Process and update patient information securely.
Patient Coordination:?

Ensure patients fill out necessary intake forms and consent documents. Briefly explain treatments (IV therapy, diagnostic tests, etc.). Help patients prepare for treatments (e.g., hydration for IV therapy). Provide post-treatment instructions and aftercare guidance.
Billing Support:?

Process payments, inform patients of costs, co-pays, and billing options. Ensuring deposits are taken and bills are paid by clients.
Administrative Tasks:?

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Track and order clinic supplies (Diagnostic testing kits, etc.).
Customer Service:?

Ensure patients have a positive, comfortable experience. Handle patient complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
Collaborating with Healthcare Providers:?

Communicate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff for smooth care. Manage patient flow and ensure all necessary information is available. Assist in communicating test results and scheduling follow-up appointments.
Marketing and Promotion (optional):?

Promote services such as IV vitamin therapy and functional medicine. Provide patients with educational materials about available treatments.
Key Skills:?

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Basic understanding of medical treatments and services offered. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Attention to detail in documentation and patient care. Comfortable with office software and medical record systems.
Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm

Pay: 12.00-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week

Schedule:

Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability
Experience:
