We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Receptionist to join our high-end dermatology clinic in Central London. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) ideal for someone who not only excels in front-of-house duties, but also has a strong ability to engage with clients and
drive sales of aesthetic treatments
. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations effectively.
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls to appropriate staff members.
Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality is upheld at all times.
Process patient information and insurance details with attention to detail.
Assist with billing inquiries and coordinate with medical staff as needed.
Keep the reception area tidy and welcoming for patients.
Explaining treatments clearly to patients
Selling treatment packages in line with patient needs
Experience
Previous office experience is essential, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Administrative experience is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to manage office tasks efficiently.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
Desirable
Spanish language skills are a strong plus
Experience with aesthetic treatments or knowledge of dermatology is an advantage
