Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations.
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld.
Process patient registrations and update information as necessary.
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations within the practice.
Handle billing and insurance claims, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organised reception area.
Skills
Strong administrative skills with experience in office management preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and telephones.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous but not essential.
