We are seeking an enthusiastic, well-motivated, and organised individual to join our friendly and dedicated practice team as a Practice Receptionist. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our reception area and administrative functions.
Practice Location
Our practice is centrally located in the heart of Neath Town Centre, offering excellent accessibility. We are within easy walking distance of the bus station, train station, and local shops.
Role & Responsibilities
The Practice Receptionist is responsible for the smooth operation of the reception area, working effectively both as an individual and as part of our supportive team.
Key duties include:
Telephone Management: Answering and directing incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously.
Appointment Management:
Booking and managing telephone triage appointments accurately.
Scheduling and managing nurses' appointments.
Administrative Workflow:
Dealing efficiently with pathology results and related administrative workflow.
Undertaking general administrative work as required to support the practice.
Front of House: Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception environment and assisting patients face-to-face.
