We are seeking a dedicated and organised Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. This role involves managing patient appointments, handling enquiries, and supporting the administrative functions of the practice.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and provide assistance as needed.
Manage appointment scheduling and ensure an organised calendar for healthcare providers.
Answer phone calls and respond to patient enquiries in a professional manner.
Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
Process patient registrations.
Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate smooth operations within the practice.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Skills
Previous office experience is essential, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Proficient in using office equipment and computer software for scheduling and record management.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
