Job Overview



We are seeking a professional and organised Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth administrative operations within the practice. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with prior office or administrative experience looking to contribute to patient care.

Responsibilities



Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming environment Manage appointments and triage system, signposting and referring patients to correct care. Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls appropriately Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic patient system Process patient check-ins and check-outs with attention to confidentiality and accuracy Handle incoming correspondence, including emails and postal mail Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies Support the clinical team with general administrative duties as required

Qualifications



Proven office or administrative experience, preferably within a healthcare setting Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Knowledge of EPR system like EMISWeb an advantage Confident learning and exploring IT systems Proficient in using office software such as MS Office (Word, Excel) and practice management systems Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive patient information discreetly Friendly, professional demeanour with a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-12.80 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
