Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility in providing excellent patient care and administrative support. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the reception area and contributing to the overall efficiency of the practice.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment diary efficiently
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality
- Process patient registrations and update personal information as required
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Essential Skills and experience

Previous I.T skills and experience and proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is essential
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Desirable

Previous GP practice or healthcare administration
The practice is a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail, multi-tasking and excellent patient service is required.
