About us:
The Cambridge ADHD & Autism Centre is a rapidly growing private ADHD & Autism service based in Stow-cum-Quy. We pride ourselves on our strong multidisciplinary team set up, high standards, and most importantly the vital work that we do in helping families and individuals achieve and understand their diagnoses.
We are now looking for another experienced medical receptionist/administrator to join our small (but amazing) team. The right candidate will be self-aware, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be highly proactive. They will leverage their skills and experience to provide a friendly and efficient receptionist service to our expanding neurodiversity service as well as competent administrative support alongside our existing team. Personal experience of neurodivergence is not a prerequisite but an understanding of ND would be highly beneficial.
Experience working in primary care is desirable, but not essential. It's more important that the successful person be a skilled communicator who is used to working in a multidisciplinary team environment, ideally with an understanding of private healthcare patient liaison. Our new team member will be someone who can hit the ground running and is able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
For further information about who we are and what we do please take a look at our website www.camadhd.co.uk, or alternatively for an informal chat about the role please contact Sarah, at practice.manager[at]camadhd.co.uk.
Role Overview:
To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team under the supervision of the Practice Administrator and Practice Manager. Duties can include, but are not limited to, opening up the building each morning, checking for cancellations or urgent queries, answering the phone, responding to voicemails, effective use of the appointment system, booking / rearranging appointments, the processing of information and assisting patients as required.
To act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multi-disciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers where appropriate.
This will be a busy role and once competent with the essential processes and procedures there will be opportunities to add to your role with additional responsibilities.
Please include a covering letter with your application stating why you're interested in this role and what you could bring to the team
