We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist / Secretary to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice and enhancing patient experience.
Duties
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with the check-in process.
Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers.
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls to appropriate staff members.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with data protection regulations.
Process patient registrations, insurance information, and payments as required.
Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate effective communication regarding patient care.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and managing correspondence.
Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area.
Skills
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and colleagues.
Proficiency in office software applications, including word processing and spreadsheet programs.
