Harley Street Audiovestibular Clinic is a dedicated private healthcare provider located in Central London committed to delivering excellent patient care.
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Medical Secretary/Clinic coordinator to join our team at our Elstree Offices. With ample parking and nearby gym and hotel facilities, Centennial park is a warm and welcoming home for our administrative offices.
This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic by managing appointments, coordinating patient care, and liaising with medical professionals. You will be working alongside our existing team to ensure high quality service provision to our demanding private patients.
Key Responsibilities
Efficiently manage appointment scheduling and patient bookings.
Serve as the first point of contact for patients, offering a professional and compassionate service.
Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Process invoices, payments, and other administrative tasks as required.
Handle correspondence, emails, and telephone inquiries in a timely and professional manner directing them as necessary.
Ensure compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations.
Demonstrate flexibility to cover any business requirements that arise to allow for the smooth running of the service.
Remuneration & Benefits
Salary:
25,396.80 full-time equivalent - pro-rata salary applicable part-time post only
Lunch Break:
Paid 30 minutes lunch break per day.
Payment:
Monthly in arrears via bank transfer
Annual Leave:
Pro-rata paid leave of 5 days. Bank holidays are provided in addition to the paid annual leave days.
Pension:
Automatic enrolment into the Employer's pension scheme, with the option to opt-out as per scheme regulations.
Company Events:
Invitation to partake in regular organizational events & meetings.
Hours of Work
Wednesday to Friday: 10:00 - 16:00.
Includes a 30-minute paid lunch break each day.
Flexibility in working hours may be considered where appropriate.
Person Specification
Essential:
At least 12 months of experience working in a medical administrative role.
Fluent English language skills.
Strong telephone communication skills.
Fast typing skills.
Proficiency in IT, including Office 365, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Excellent organisation skills & attention to detail.
Maintain medical records and enter patient information into electronic health records systems.
Desirable:
Experience working in a private healthcare setting.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
