Hours: Mon - Fri 8.30am - 4.30pm or 9am - 5pm

What you'll be responsible for:
Providing a comprehensive, effective and professional secretarial and administrative support to the Rheumatology service including:
Handling of incoming telephone calls from clinicians and patients in a professional manner
Managing incoming queries by email and internal system tasks
Send letters to patients and GPs as required
Update internal systems with patient information and updates
Ordering of equipment and medical supplies
You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively always complete your role to the highest standard
A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You'll have the following skills/experience:
Must have previously worked as a medical secretary.
Be proficient in audio typing with accuracy and speed.
Diary management for consultants/medical teams.
Knowledge of hospital systems an advantage
