Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Meetings and Events Sales Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the sales process for meetings, events, and banquets, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills, with a background in hospitality, event planning, or related fields. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with clients to create memorable events while contributing to the success of our venue.

Duties



Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their event needs and preferences. Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue setup, catering, audiovisual requirements, and accommodations. Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize revenue while ensuring client satisfaction. Upsell additional services such as catering packages, decorations, or entertainment options. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote event spaces through targeted campaigns and event marketing strategies. Manage event budgets, ensuring profitability and adherence to financial guidelines. Oversee the entire events management process from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally. Coordinate with internal departments such as catering, banquet staff, and facilities management to ensure seamless event execution. Maintain detailed records of bookings, contracts, and client communications using organizational tools. Assist in developing promotional materials and participating in outreach efforts to attract new clients.

Experience



Proven experience in event planning, hospitality, or sales within hotels, restaurants, or similar venues. Strong background in banquet operations, catering services, or hotel event management is preferred. Demonstrated success in negotiation, upselling, and contract management. Familiarity with event marketing strategies and fundraising activities is a plus. Excellent communication skills coupled with strong organizational and time management abilities. Experience in guest services or hospitality roles that require exceptional customer service skills. Knowledge of budgeting processes related to events and venue management is desirable.
