Member Development Officer (Retained)

We have an ongoing requirement for a Member Development officer to contact new and existing Co-Op members to book welcome calls and to update members on new products & services. As new members and product launches are happening throughout the year, we require a retained MDO who can assist in delivering these calls as and when required. As such, this

would not be suitable

for someone searching for a full time & permanent role, although it may progress to a permanent position as the Co-Op member base grows. It is an ideal role for anyone looking to earn an extra income alongside other responsibilites.

Duties

Contact existing Scottish Business Co-Op members to book welcome calls. Contact existing Scottish Business Co-Op members to advise of new member products & services. Utilise CRM software & diary booking systems to effectively manage the Regional Operators (RO's) time management. Work remote using our soft phone system to contact SBC members.

Skills

Experience of a similar appointment booking or outbound customer service role. Excellent communication and rapport building skills. Strong relationship management skills with a demonstrated ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Experience of using CRM and diary booking systems preferred. Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on enabling long-term relationships for our members. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to convey complex information clearly. Ability to act as a Cooperative Ambassador on each and every communication with our members.
Candidates must be located in Scotland for this role. Full training will be provided. A generous discretionary bonuses scheme applies to this role. This is a great opportunity to open doors in to other roles within the Cooperative.
