Sporting Chances Group (SCG) is an alternative education provider that spans South East London, Surrey, and Sutton. Our provisions support young people who are unable to achieve their best in mainstream education because of social, emotional, or behavioural needs. We provide valuable respite for young people going through challenges in the education system. Across our services, we offer 1-to-1 mentoring, outreach programmes, sports activities and qualifications, group learning, beauty qualifications and more. Our mission is to get the best out of every young person that is sent our way, to encourage excellence and nurture talent!
About the Role

Completing detailed incident and risk assessments, ensuring all activities are safe and appropriate
Liaising regularly with families, carers, and external professionals to provide consistent, wraparound support
Acting as a safeguarding champion -- reporting concerns promptly in line with SCG's Child Protection Policy
Upholding all relevant SCG policies, including Health & Safety, Equality, Confidentiality, and more
Participating in supervision, appraisal, and ongoing training to keep learning and growing in your role
Taking part in team meetings, events, and any additional duties as required by the Manager
