About the Role
Rossetts Commercials is offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as a
Mercedes-Benz Van Sales Trainee
at our Aldershot site. This role is designed for an ambitious individual to learn strong customer focus and commercial instinct in sales and aftersales and who is looking to start or develop a career in
Commercial Vehicle Sales
with a prestigious global brand.
You will be enrolled onto the
Mercedes-Benz Van Talent programme
and receive structured training, on-the-job coaching, and Mercedes-Benz manufacturer development, with the aim of progressing into a
Van Sales Executive
role.
Working Hours
45 hours per week. Monday to Friday 08:30 to 18:00 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break per day plus 1-in-3 Saturdays 08:30 to 13:00 as per rota.
Package
Basic Salary
24,000 per annum.
Participation in the
Company Commission Scheme
currently 10% of retained vehicle/accessory profit and finance income increasing to 20% upon achieving quarterly targets. Scheme is subject to change

What You'll Be Responsible for
Attending and completing all training as required by the MB Van Talent training programme.
Developing strong product knowledge across new and used Mercedes-Benz Vans.
Learning the full sales process for new and used Mercedes-Benz vans
Responding to customer enquiries, appointments and follow-ups to convert enquiries into vehicle sales.
Building and managing customer relationships to generate repeat and referral business.
Assisting with vehicle demonstrations, test drives and handovers
Developing knowledge of finance, leasing and insurance products and learning to negotiate terms.
Accurately managing customer data and sales activity on the CRM system
Working towards individual sales targets as part of your development plan.
Attending and supporting sales events as required.
Keep up to date on industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities.
Representing the Mercedes-Benz brand to the highest standards
About You
Ambitious, highly motivated and keen to build a career in sales
Commercial awareness and a desire to earn through performance
Confident communicator with strong influencing skills
Professional, organised and resilient.
Willing to learn and take on feedback
IT literate (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Previous sales or customer-facing experience is desirable but not essential
