The Role

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated

Mercedes-Benz 24hr Technician

to join our growing team. This is a dual-role position that involves both

mobile breakdown response

and

workshop-based service and repair

.

You'll work on a rotating on-call basis:

Week 1:

Primary 24hr on-call breakdown support

Week 2:

Secondary on-call, focused on workshop and onsite maintenance

Key Responsibilities

Attend roadside breakdowns and complete diagnostics and repairs Achieve a high first-time-fix rate in compliance with SLAs Perform servicing, diagnostics, and maintenance both in our workshop and at customer sites Work to Mercedes-Benz 24hr Service Level Agreements and Block Exemption Regulations (BER)

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a

highly skilled technician

who's confident working independently and committed to excellent customer service.

Essential qualifications and experience:

Roadside IVR certification City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Proven experience in HGV/commercial vehicle diagnostics and repair Strong technical skills and diagnostic experience with modern tools Full valid UK driving licence Physically fit to handle heavy vehicle components Good communication and a proactive, team-focused approach

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 18:00 Participation in on-call rota for 24hr breakdown cover (2-week cycle)

Salary

40,000-50,000 PA - Based on Experience Plus overtime
