Job Description

We've got an interesting opportunity to support our merchandising function to deliver our commercial plan. This role is based in our head office in Swindon and is a 6/7 month fixed term maternity cover contract. This role is available now, so we're looking for someone to start as soon as possible. We can also offer hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 at home.



The Merchandising Administrator will be integral in managing stock fulfilment for our customer deliveries and the efficient communication for any issues to the relevant areas of the business. You will also play a key role in the successful ranging of products in store and online support the Commercial Department in product creation, maintenance of ranging plans, ensuring timely receipt of stocks for launch build and assisting with required system ordering processes.



Providing accurate detailed analysis and systematic support for all areas of the Merchandising function, you will use your communication skills to build relationships and work closely with other business areas including Customer Services, Buying, and Supply Chain teams.



Key Responsibilities



Analysing and resolving fulfilment issues in a timely manner in line with the company processes

Minimise fulfilment issues by identifying root causes and working with other departments to implement resolutions

Assisting with the preparation of product information in readiness for product launch

Liaising with sourcing and suppliers to ensure on time delivery of stock for launch builds

Maintaining store ranging plans and raising of store delivery orders in line with the commercial plan

Maintaining range plan attributes database

Providing accurate reports and analysis to support the merchandising team with strategy decisions on stock, stores, grading and range planning

Providing administrative support as required to support the department



Skills and Experience



Previous experience in an analytical role with strong analytical/ numerical skills

Must have an intermediate/advanced level of Excel skills

Previous administration experience is essential

Good written and verbal communication

Experience working within a Merchandising function is desirable

Attention to detail and excellent organisational ability
