Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Polisher to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for surface finishing and polishing of various metal components, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of sanding processes, and the use of precision polishing equipment. The Polisher plays a critical role in delivering high-quality products through meticulous craftsmanship and adherence to safety protocols.

Duties

Operate polishing equipment and hand tools to achieve desired surface finishes on metal parts. Read and interpret technical drawings, and specifications of finish to ensure accurate polishing and finishing. Set up and operate tooling, fixtures, and tooling equipment such as cranes or forklifts safely during production processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks when required to ensure seamless production flow.

Experience

Proven experience in polishing of stainless steel to mirror finish. Familiarity with quality inspection techniques Hands-on experience with hand tools and polishing equipment Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or cranes safely is a plus. Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 12.21-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
