About the Role:

We're looking for a

proactive, detail-oriented Metal Shop Coordinator

to keep our metal fabrication and machining department running smoothly. You'll plan and schedule work, manage materials, support quality checks, and act as the key link between teams--helping us deliver high-quality output safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do:

Schedule and prioritise work orders across fabrication, machining, welding, and finishing.

Manage stock, tooling, and consumables to keep production flowing.

Maintain records, work instructions, and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.

Support quality checks and continuous improvement initiatives.

Communicate daily updates and help train new team members.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in manufacturing or metalworking (fabrication, machining, welding, cutting).

Strong organisational and scheduling skills.

Knowledge of UK health & safety practices.

Comfortable reading engineering drawings and using basic IT systems.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
