Role Overview

You'll create accurate DXF files and CNC programs for our P2 panel bender, CNC punch presses, flat lasers, and tube laser machines. You'll turn customer drawings into manufacturable parts, optimise nesting, and support smooth, efficient production on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

Convert drawings and models into DXF files ready for production Program parts for: P2 panel bender, CNC punch, Flat laser, Tube laser Prepare nests and cutting profiles Validate bend allowances, punch tool paths, and laser cutting parameters Work with production to resolve manufacturability issues Apply revision changes and maintain digital program library Support tooling choices (punch tools, bending tooling, etc.) Improve consistency and reduce cycle times where possible Technical Skills.

Skills Required:

CAD experience (AutoCAD / SolidWorks or similar) CAM programming for laser or punch Ability to read engineering drawings DXF creation and cleanup Understanding of sheet metal processes

Experience with:

Amada CAD/CAM (Dr Abe, VPSS, Radan, Sigma Nest, etc.) Punch tooling setup Tube laser programming Panel bending sequences Knowledge of material behaviour (aluminium, stainless, mild steel)
