Responsibilities

Operate metal spinning machines to shape and form metal components according to specifications. Monitor the spinning process, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet design specifications and standards. Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting any issues that arise during production. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Keep work area clean and organised, adhering to company policies regarding cleanliness and safety.

Skills

Proven experience in metal spinning or a related field is highly desirable. Strong understanding of metal properties and the spinning process. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with safety regulations in a manufacturing setting is an advantage.
