We are currently looking to recruit an experienced

MIG / TIG Welder

to join our team working at our Engineering site in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a skilled workforce in a dynamic, metal-based manufacturing environment. You'll play a vital role in producing components that align with both technical drawings and quality expectations.

The Role:

Setting out materials to be cut or joined. Operating the semi-automatic spot-welding equipment used in high volume production. Following engineering instructions and drawings. Ensuring quality, volume and safety standards are achieved. Maintaining your equipment which will involve a degree of manual handling. Any other duties as required.

The Person:

Previous MIG or TIG welding / fabrication experience (essential). Ability to work on own initiative with limited supervision. Strong problem-solving skills and good attention to detail. Reliability with a can-do attitude is a must with a flexible approach to working time to meet production demands. Effective communicator across all levels. High levels accuracy to produce quality work first time.

Working Hours:

7am - 4pm Monday to Thursday / 7am - 12.45pm Friday.
