We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the production process. Duties

Operate MIG welding equipment to join metal parts according to technical specifications and safety standards. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics related to fabrication projects. Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to shape, cut, and assemble sheet metal and other materials. Perform routine maintenance on welding machinery and ensure all safety protocols are followed during operations. Assist in the fabrication of components using various materials, including sheet metal, ensuring precise measurements and quality control. Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to deadlines. Conduct inspections of welds and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Skills

Proficiency in MIG welding techniques with a solid understanding of welding principles. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment safely and effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately. Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions during fabrication processes. Familiarity with sheet metal work, assembly procedures, and general fabrication tasks. Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality welds and finished products.
