Mimi's Bakehouse is a second-generation family run business based in Edinburgh. Our motto is 'it's all about cake', however, we also strongly believe 'it's all about our team'.

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for hospitality and making peoples day, to join our Corstorphine / Lauriston Castle team. We require someone available 3 - 5 shifts a week with the flexibility to also work weekends, preferable with ambition to grown within the company to step up to a shift runner or supervisor once they have found their feet (full training would be provided).

As a member of the team your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers with a warm welcome in true Mimi's style
- Being proactive in your work
- Working in a team to provide an enjoyable experience for customers and fellow colleagues
- Informing customers of the specials we have on offer and informing them on what they might enjoy
- Having good knowledge of our menu
- Being openminded and always looking for ways in which we could improve our customer service
- Use of our POS system & receiving and processing payments
- Understanding of food hygiene and applying it to your daily routine at work
- Basic understanding of coffee and experience using a coffee machine
- Being able to follow standard cleaning practices to ensure the store is kept in immaculate condition.
