About the Role:

Our aim is to lead the transformation of global premium brands through the strategic implementation of machine learning. As a lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving this vision by overseeing the end-to-end operations of machine learning models at global scale, ensuring seamless integration into our production environment and owning the development of our incubation platform. You'll lead a team of talented ML Ops engineers, collaborating closely with ML Engineers and other engineers to create and maintain a robust ML Ops framework.



Key Responsibilities:


Lead, inspire and develop a team of MLOps engineers, fostering a collaborative, innovative culture focused on continuous improvement and close partnership with ML Engineering teams. Own and drive the ML Ops roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals, while overseeing planning, delivery, and execution of ML Ops projects from design through to deployment. Design and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure, enabling seamless integration of machine learning models into production through automated deployment, monitoring, and optimisation pipelines. Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and observability tools, ensuring deployed models and infrastructure are stable, performant, and cost-efficient. Stay ahead of the curve on emerging AI/ML trends, identifying and integrating relevant technologies to ensure the function remains innovative and future-ready.
What we're looking for:


Strong background in ML Ops or software engineering, with hands-on experience delivering cloud-native solutions in Python, and ideally exposure to other languages like Java or C++. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams, driving operational excellence and ensuring a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Proven track record using containerisation tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, with experience deploying high-traffic services in production environments. Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Git, and infrastructure as code using Terraform, with knowledge of serverless and event-driven architectures. Experience working with ML platforms and tooling (feature stores, model serving, experimentation platforms), with bonus points for GCP expertise across services like Compute Engine, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions. Familiarity with LLM deployment, Triton, and web development technologies (React, HTML), ensuring flexibility to support a wide range of ML Ops use cases and integrations.
