Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and friendly Mobile Catering Van Driver to operate one of our food vans around the local St Helens area. The role involves preparing and serving hot and cold food to customers, maintaining high hygiene standards, and providing excellent customer service.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys early starts and likes to finish early in the day.

Key Responsibilities

Drive and operate a mobile catering van around designated routes. Serve food and drinks safely and efficiently. Handle cash and card payments responsibly. Restock supplies and ensure the van is clean and well-presented. Follow all food hygiene and safety procedures. Represent the company in a professional and friendly manner.
Requirements

Clean UK driving licence (no points, accidents, or claims). Experience within the food industry (e.g. catering, bakery, cafe, or similar). Excellent customer service and communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy. Must be able to work independently and manage daily routes. Preference given to mature applicants with previous food handling experience. Ideally self-employed and able to receive payment on a flexible, weekly basis.
