Overview

We are seeking a diligent and reliable mobile cleaning operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, construction, commercial and domestic settings, ensuring that all areas are well-presented and welcoming. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Details:

Hourly Rate:

Starting at 13.50 per hour

Hours:

Variable - minimum 2 days per week with the intention of increasing to 5 days a week.

Work-Life Balance:

Flexible scheduling ideal for those seeking variety

Travel:

Own car essential. Mileage paid when visiting more than one site in a day, or if driving staff to site.

Driving duties-

When needed ensuring non driving cleaners are able to travel to and from site

Van Use:

Company van available upon successful completion of probation.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide operational support across sites, ensuring high standards are maintained Cover staff absences and holiday periods (sometimes at short notice) Conduct cleaning audits and quality checks Staff training Order and manage cleaning supplies

Who We're Looking For:

You'll be proactive, reliable, and adaptable, with strong communication and organisational skills. Experience in cleaning supervision is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to drive safely and responsibly, ensuring punctuality for appointments. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Previous experience in a cleaning role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
