Equans is looking for a Mobile Cleaning Supervisor to join our team, working on the Southern Water contracts in Southern House, Worthing, West Sussex, BN13 3NX, on a permanent basis. This role involves working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary of 27,333.74 per annum, along with an attractive benefits package. Please note, you will be employed by Equans, supporting their Southern Water contracts,


Shift Pattern:





Monday - Friday 08.00 - 17.00


Candidates must have their own means of transport, such as a car, motorbike, or bicycle, as there is no public transport available near the site.

Position Overview:





To provide the Southern Waters Account the with structured contract cleaning delivery capability through EQUANS systems and processes.



The post holder will the following responsibilities:



1. Managing local cleaning teams and subcontracted elements

3. Developing, leading and/or supporting the site cleaning team

4. Stock and equipment control, inclusive of cleaning consumables, bedlinen and cleaning equipment

5. Staff rotas, payroll, holidays and sickness booking / cover

6. Evaluate work standards and methods to maintain efficiency and smooth run of daily operations

7. Routine visual inspections and supervision of all cleaning personnel to ensure cleaning staff work towards expected standards, requirements of Health and Safety regulations and in accordance to the approved cleaning methods.

8. Allocate tasks to cleaning staff across the contract and ensure their time is used effectively and all criteria of work schedules are achieved daily, give the team regular and constructive feedback.

9. Regularly review staff attendance and punctuality.

10. In the event of staff absences, arrange a suitable cover or cover yourself to ensure a smooth continuity of service delivery.

11. Completion of Quality Audits, fulfilling all actions required, dealing with cleaning issues and complaints in an effective and professional manner, ensuring all cleaning defects receive rectification as soon as possible and are re-inspected

12. Ensuring all cleaning staff are competent and trained within their roles, with training records maintained. Provide new starters with a Company and Site Induction and ensure new cleaners work under consistent supervision until completely trained and competent.

13. Completion of request job sheets, retention of signing timesheets.

14. To carry out hands on cleaning duties on a daily basis as agreed with the Cleaning Manager


Requirements:




Subject matter expert in all aspects of cleaning provision and able to develop best-practice solutions in this discipline 5+ years operational leadership experience in cleaning service provision Data input skills - computer literate to include Microsoft packages Good commercial and financial acumen Good presentation, influencing and motivation skills Inspirational people leader with experience of supervising teams
