As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues and malfunctions.
Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical components.
Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety protocols.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance skills and knowledge.
Ensure the workshop is kept clean and organised at all times.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are advantageous but not essential.
A valid driving licence is preferred.
