We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. We operate on a fully mobile basis so require someone with a full UK driving license. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to diagnose and repair various types of petrol, diesel and hybrid vehicles. We cover car services, repairs and diagnostics at customers' homes or workplaces.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of cars and vans to identify issues and malfunctions.
Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical systems.
Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and minimise downtime.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at customers' workplaces or homes.
Experience
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive or mechanical engineering are advantageous but not essential.
A valid driving licence is essential as we operate as a full mobile service.
