iFix Woodley is a leading provider of mobile device repair services in Reading, committed to delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a skilled Phone Repair Technician/Engineer to join our dynamic team.

As a Phone Repair Technician/Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. Your expertise will ensure that customers receive reliable and efficient service, while your attention to detail will contribute to our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose issues with smartphones and tablets through thorough inspection and testing. Perform repairs on a variety of devices, including screen replacements, battery replacements, and other hardware repairs. Troubleshoot software issues and perform necessary updates or installations. Maintain accurate records of repairs, including parts used and service performed. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and answering questions. Stay current with the latest mobile technology trends and repair techniques. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and customer experience.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or related field is a plus. Proven experience in phone repair or a similar role, with strong knowledge of various smartphone brands and models. Proficient in soldering, micro soldering, and other technical skills related to mobile device repairs. (Not compulsory) Familiarity with software troubleshooting and operating system installations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple repairs simultaneously.
