Position Overview:

As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of heavy plant machinery, including ADT's, Excavators, Telehandlers and Dozers. You will travel to various sites within a large region, performing both mechanical and electrical repairs to keep machinery in optimal working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular service, maintenance, and repair work on heavy plant machinery, including crushers, cone crushers, screeners, and trommels, across multiple locations.

Diagnose and repair issues with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.

Perform diagnostic tests to identify mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring prompt and efficient repairs.

Travel across a large region to attend breakdowns, perform scheduled maintenance, and ensure plant machinery is operational.

Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed, ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Adhere to company health and safety policies at all times, ensuring safe work practices in the field.

Requirements

:

Proven experience working on construction plant, quarrying, or recycling equipment.

Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical repairs, including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical diagnostics.

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Construction Plant Maintenance or Agricultural Plant Maintenance is essential.

A full UK driving license is required for the mobile nature of the role.
