Job Description

We're seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join our Industrial Deafness Team, supporting solicitors and case handlers in managing claims from initial instruction through to settlement. This role involves assisting with case preparation, client communication, and document management, ensuring matters progress efficiently and in line with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day management of industrial deafness claims. Draft legal documents, witness statements, and correspondence under supervision. Liaise with clients, medical experts, and third parties to gather evidence and reports. Obtain and review medical and employment records. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information on the firm's case management system. Manage key deadlines to ensure cases progress efficiently. Conduct legal research related to industrial disease and personal injury claims. Ensure compliance with internal policies, data protection regulations, and SRA requirements.
About You

Previous experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or Case Handler within personal injury or industrial disease law is preferred. Excellent organisational and communication skills. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously. Professional, empathetic approach to client care. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with legal case management systems. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
