The Role



We are currently looking to recruit a Paralegal to join our busy and friendly in-house Legal Team. This role is being offered on a fixed-term basis to provide surge resourcing and maternity cover. Starting in September/October 2025, you'll initially support the current team with a growing workload and transition to covering maternity leave from December 2025 through January 2027.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating NDAs and commercial contracts, assisting with compliance matters, supporting claims management, and offering legal guidance to colleagues across The London Clinic.

Key Duties



Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs, data transfer agreements, and commercial contracts Manage and assist with legal claims, liaising with insurers and external counsel Conduct legal research and respond to day-to-day legal queries Support on compliance, contract law, IP, data protection, employment law, and more Represent the Legal Team in cross-functional projects and meetings Draft and update internal policies, procedures, and templates Assist with the implementation and training for a new contract management system Maintain stakeholder relationships across internal teams and external partners Support legal operations including document execution and approval workflows Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Skills and Experience



Law graduate with LPC or SQE (or equivalent legal qualifications) Proven experience as a paralegal, ideally with commercial contracts exposure Previous in-house legal experience (desirable) High attention to detail and strong drafting skills Excellent verbal and written communication Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel) Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Interest in healthcare and the work of a hospital and charity Professional, organised, self-motivated, with a high level of discretion and integrity
