Job Description

Hilary Thomas Dance provides classes in ballet, acrobatic arts, contemporary, jazz & lyrical, musical theatre, progressing ballet technique and tap dance. We have a small theatre facility and six teachers. We looking for cover a self employed QUALIFIED MODERN AND TAP DANCE teacher to expand and support what we offer! This would be to teach both adult and children's classes throughout the week.

Duties
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of individual students and the if teaching a syllabus the curriculum requirements
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students in the learning process
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback, and supporting children the the exam process
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

-termly one to one's for support and development

Qualifications

Teaching Certification to minimum Level 5 as we want to offer exams, open to syllabus for the right candidate
- Strong knowledge of subject matter and curriculum standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability in working with diverse student populations
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Hourly rate from 22 per hour(Level 4) 25-30 per hour Level 5 plus.
