Tree Tops Montessori Nursery is searching for a

Montessori Teacher

to join our wonderful team.

HOURLY RATE DEPENDENT ON QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE.

The candidate will be a fully qualified Montessori Teacher looking to put their expertise into our fast paced and fun Pre-school room. We may consider a person working towards their Montessori qualification if they are dedicated to finishing their studies and using them to enhance our Nursery.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

Working in a team to support the running of the day. Key worker to a group of children, completing paperwork and discussing progress and worries with parents/carers and external agencies. To work with and monitor all children's progress with the specialised Montessori materials. Good understanding of the EYFS and in particular supporting the merge of Montessori and EYFS framework. Supporting colleagues to follow the Montessori Principles leading by example and conducting demonstrations for both colleagues and parents. Settling new children into the room. Nappy changing/ Assisting Toileting Meal/Snack time supervision. Promoting and supporting healthy eating and independence. Creating fun and stimulating activities for the children daily. Be committed to our Safeguarding policy at all times.

Salary: 11.50-13.87 per hour dependant on experience
