This Montessori-inspired nursery school in the heart of Lewes is looking for a Montessori Teacher to join the team.

This role would suit a qualified Montessori Teacher. Your salary will be in line with the very best in the sector and we can offer flexibility over your hours. We are open all year round.

The person who joins us will contribute - to the children's education, of course, but also to the success of the nursery as a whole - you'll be a senior and respected member of the team.

Everyone who works at the nursery is passionate about early years education. The classroom is calm and stimulating, the children happy and engaged.

There is car parking close by, the train station is a 10-minute walk and we're on the main bus routes.

Responsibilities

To get to know the children and their families. (You'll develop a strong bond with children and parents and become an important part of their family life.)

To help the children learn new skills and independence.

To plan the children's activities. Our paperwork is kept to a minimum so you can spend time with the children.

Candidate requirements

Montessori qualification.

Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

You'll need to be articulate and confident. You'll be a Key Person capable of developing a partnership with parents.

Forest School qualifications would be beneficial as would an interest in Montessori.
