Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Cleaner will ensure that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for all.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming. Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas. Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, windows, and furniture. Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery. Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively. Assist with deep cleaning tasks as required.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment. Excellent communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with team members. A proactive approach towards problem-solving and maintaining a clean environment.
