This is a varied role in which you will have the opportunity to showcase your amazing customer service skills, liaising with clients, suppliers and third parties.

You will play a key role, supporting our clients and ensuring they are given expert mortgage and protection advice.

Effectively prioritising your own workload and will have the chance to further develop your advisory and technical skills in a busy office.

You will be appointment based, and have leads provided but the opportunity for additional earning opportunities from your own leads.

You will be discussing personal details, so the ability to be empathetic, build rapport and develop quality relationships is essential.

Additionally you will be provided admin support but will need to have the skillset to process files, submit applications, accurately record data, and ensure all file information is up to date, so you will be accustomed to working effectively while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

The role is office based at 33 Kirkgate, Silsden Silsden, BD20 0AJ but we operate an element of flexible working, and working from home.

A day in the life:



As a Mortgage & Protection Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in providing top-notch mortgage and protection advice to our valued customers. Collaborating with industry experts, you'll build meaningful relationships and contribute to our shared mission of financial empowerment.

You'll be an enthusiastic and driven individual, with high attention to detail and great people skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

Sourcing the best financial products based on the customer's individual needs and wants, mortgage and insurances. Completing sales calls with our customers, providing regulated advice, and making suitable recommendations on mortgages and insurances. Following up on leads and chasing for updates with back-office support so you can focus on advising. Maintaining high-performance standards and staying up to date with industry regulations. Achieving minimum targets with meticulous care and attention Upholding personal performance standards of excellence Staying abreast of evolving FCA requirements and industry changes Fulfilling CPD requirements to maintain professional competence Adhering to company compliance protocols, promptly addressing feedback, and implementing necessary actions Promoting best advice and setting a stellar example in customer care Championing the Mortgages with Hannie & Co brand and upholding best practices consistently.

Role requirements



Essential



CeMap or equivalent Proven experience of working successfully to sales targets Current or recent experience of an outbound call environment Ability to respond quickly to training and adapt to changes within the industry Proven experience in outbound sales, objection handling Able to carry out processes in a compliant manner Able to demonstrate achievements against a wide range of competencies Strong IT skills including the use of the full Microsoft package Experience of working successfully in a team and also individually

Desirable



Current or recent experience in mortgages or finance Experience of broking/lending in the protection market Experience of using bespoke software Experience in a busy sales environment

Pay: From 24,000.00 per year dependant on experience
