We are seeking a dedicated Mortgage Consultant to join our financial services team. The successful candidate will assist clients in securing suitable mortgage solutions, providing expert advice and personalised service throughout the mortgage process. Responsibilities

Assess clients' financial situations to determine suitable mortgage options Provide expert guidance on mortgage products, interest rates, and repayment plans Prepare and explain loan applications, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current market trends, lending criteria, and regulatory requirements Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and lenders Assist clients in understanding the legal and financial implications of mortgage agreements Follow up with clients throughout the application process to ensure smooth completion Keep detailed records of client interactions and application statuses in accordance with company policies

Experience

Previous experience within financial services or mortgage broking is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Basic maths skills are essential for calculating figures related to loan amounts, interest rates, and repayment schedules Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple client files efficiently Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanour Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
